An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic literary and historical study of ancient Greece. The ancient Greeks today have affected much of our life. Our democratic government, the words we speak, and our athletic competitions all have roots in Ancient Greece. Even the stories we read and see on TV and in the movies can often be traced to the stories and myths of the ancient Greek culture.
In this unit students will determine and evaluate how a culture develops its commerce, government and recreation and how ancient cultures can connect to our own.
