The American Revolution, an integrated/interdisciplinary thematic unit for 8th grade. The Revolutionary War is one of the building blocks of our country. It is important to know why Colonial America chose to rebel against their English rulers and where the foundations of our country began, and also to understand the important people and events of the time. Students will gain and understanding of the events that precipitated the Revolutionary War and an understanding of the daily life during the Revolutionary period.
