An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Geometric Shapes Geometric shapes are an intrinsic part of our daily lives. Everything in the environment around us is shape related. This unit is designed to give students a basic understanding of geometric shapes through interdisciplinary opportunities. This will benefit students by helping them understand their world as well as provide them with a solid basis for future geometric concepts.
