An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Middle School Unit on the 20th Century The students will learn about the major events, people, inventions, advancements and accomplishments of the 20th century as we changed from a predominantly technical borrowing society to a world power. It will help them to see where we as a people have been and how this affects where we will be in the next century as we move into a new millennium.
