A look at Mass Media Communication
An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on__mass media communication issues in languages other than English. The media is posed in various forms such as television, radio, magazines, newspapers, and internet. In this era of technology the media is one of the most powerful forms of communication among people all over the world. It has the power to influence the way people view society and the process by which they choose their leaders, make rules, and construct values. In this unit students will learn to analyze the language used by the media to provoke interest, incite people to take action, or create ambiguity.
