A, u! Going for the Gold?

An integrated, interdisciplinary, thematic study of the California Gold Rush. This unit was developed to introduce students to the California Gold Rush. Students will learn about the people, history, lifestyle, and economic times of the late 1840's. Students will also this as the beginning of the trascontinental railroad and the beginning of California as a state.
