An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Tolerance and Unity With A View Of The Olympics - a GATE Study For Grades 6, 7, 8 For as far back as one can remember, people have shunned other people who are different from the "norm." Through a study of historical intolerances and current events of society, students will learn methods of acceptance and tolerance of all people to create a better community like the one created every two years at the Olympic Games.
