AHA! Renaissance Past and Present

  • $5.50

The Renaissance is important because Europeans were just beginning to explore and settle the New World and this marked the beginning of the modern age in which we live. The Renaissance produced a renewed interest in science, philosophy, art, literature, history and classical learning which led to the new concept that human beings had the ability to shapte their own lives and the world around them. The historical similarities between the two eras have many lessons to offer our society including insight on cultural and scientific dilemmas.
