Alien Nation - From Sounds of Silence to Everybody's Talking at ME.

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on the impact of Internal and External Conflict in the Life of a Teenager. The literature of the times reflects society at large and as society changes, the literature of the time's changes to mirror the similarities and differences. Additionally, teenagers are more alike than they realize. Teens across the decades have all experienced the same feelings that today's teens feel. This unit will show teens that their feelings of isolation, alienation and conflict are normal and will help them deal with these feelings.
