All is Fair in Love, War, And Presidential Elections...

An interdisciplinary unit exploring U.S. Presidential Elections through Language Arts, Social Studies, and Math. Within today's society, many voters are unaware of the electoral process campaigne platforms, candidates stand on these platforms. Therefore, they make uneducated choices or no choices at all. This unit employs an integrated approach for sixth grade students to study the branches of government, their interrelationship and the process by which citizens become elected to office. The topics will be focused on the Presidential election, the electoral college, and campaigne issues.
