An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of Paradoxes involving the Colonizing and Establishing of America as an Independent Nation This unit introduces students to the reasons why America was colonized and how it developed into a separate entity. It shows the contrasts between the intents and practices which shaped our nation and helps students to understand the struggles America had to become independent.
