An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of the causes and course of the Revolutionary War This unit is important to 5th grade students as they gain an awareness and appreciation of the tenacity, cooperation, and hardships our forefathers endured in the fight for freedom from English tyranny. Students will also gain an understanding of the causes leading to the American Revolution and the course that it followed.
