An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on USA Holidays for ESL Students This is an integrated, interdisciplinary, thematic unit to introduce ESL students to holidays widely celebrated in the United States. The study will increase knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of American culture. Holidays, their origins, and traditional celebration activities will be emphasized.
