An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Humanities Unit Analyzing the Impact and Relationship of the Mid-Decades of the 20th Century on the New Millennium This Humanities unit provides an integrated, thematic approach for upper level high school students to study the historical impact of the socio-political revolution of the mid-decades of the 20th century in the United States. The unit provides an opportunity for students to examine the connection between the current trends in our social and political institutions and the civil-disobedience, counter-culture movements of those decades. The unit allows the student to determine and define both change and continuity in the public and private sectors of American life as we enter the new millennium.
