Battle of the Little Bighorn: Custer's Last Stand or Shy Anne and Sue Take Down Goldenlocks

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on the Batle of the Little Bighorn. The Battle of the Little Bighorn is an important part of history in Montana. It influences the cultural history to the area. This unit will introduce students to the social issues, Native American and military contributions, and the impact on present life of the Native American. Military life will also be discussed with the students. Students will learn about life in the 1870's. Students will also be introduced to the geography of the area.
