BeBop to Hip Hop From Our "Roots" to Rap

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on the "Evolution of Music" from Africa to the 1990's This interdisciplinary/integrated thematic unit is designed to give students the opportunity to study the evolution of music. It shows experiences through economics, science, math, language arts, and physical education. The unit also shows the profound impact music has on our history and how it overlaps into all cultural/social levels.
