This unit is an integrated, interdisciplinary, thematic approach for middle school students to understand that bullying is a socially inappropriate behavior that affects their ability to progress academically and socially. Improving peer relationships provides a safe and secure environment, while the development of effective communication skills helps to deter antisocial behavior.
