Butterflies, Spiders, and Bees...Oh My! Or Don't Bee Bugged By Bugs
An Integrated Kindergarten Science Unit Exploring Insects The study of insects is important because students need to know the valuable roles they play in the life cycle of all living things and they impact the environment in which they live. Additionally, the unit is aligned with OHIO'S Science Academic Content Standards for life sciences and will provide students with the heightened awareness of living things in general. Students will learn specific characteristics of insects as well as likenesses/differences that exist among plants or animals.
