An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit Introducing the Conflicts and Cooperation That Led to the Revolutionary War and the Foundation of the United States Today's students need to know and understand events and issues that have shaped our country's history and impacted our present. This unit is designed to introduce 8th graders to the events which created an atmosphere of revolution among the Colonial people, and how their decisions and values profoundly affect our lives today.
