  • $5.50

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on the Changes in the American Society from 1880 to 1920 The changes that occurred during this period in American history form a foundation for the understanding of our present society's structure. This period was a time of movement from a simple agrarian society to a more complex industry-driven way of life -- with master artisans evolving into assembly-line workers. U.S. foreign policy shifted from political isolationism to the expansionism of a world power. The make-up of our communities also changed as thousands of immigrants flocked to America's urban areas in search of a better life.
