An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on Adventure Literature Students will learn about adventure and exploration based on a natural human motivation to discover the world around them and beyond. Through this discovery, students will learn about the dilemmas humans face in the unknown and the reliance on self-sufficiency, community interdependence, and the strength of the human spirit.
