Civil Rights, It isn't Rocket Science

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on the 50's and 60's in the US and how it affected the rest of the world. During the 1950's and 1960's, the United States underwent many transformations. Some of these changes involved social justice (inequality, segregation, prejudice, civil rights), while others delt with advances in flight and nuclear power. These developments helped to mold the United States into a leading nation for both human rights and technology.
