An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Exploration of Alaska Native Cultures for Middle School Students How humans interact with each other and their environment is a large part of the ASD 7th grade Geography Standards. This unit is designed to help students learn how Native cultures in Alaska interact with their environment, and each other. This will give them a basis for understanding current issues in subsistence, cultural understanding, and land use in Alaska.
