An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic 4th and 5th Grade Unit on Cowboys, The Cattle Industry, and Fort Worth, Texas The Chisholm Trail created the cultural flavor of what we now call Fort Worth. The students will understand and appreciate the influence of the cattle industry and cowboys on the development of the city.
