Coming to America

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on the Pilgrims and the Mayflower Voyage and the establishment of the Plymouth colony. This unit teaches students about early events that helped shape our society. The essential concepts from the unit are to enable students to make connections with academic knowledge and real life situations. Students will understand the pilgrims' decisions and findings and how it still affects them in the present and how it will affect those in the future.
