Coming to America - Immigration from 1865

An interdisciplinary thematic unit exploring Immigration from 1865. Historically, people worldwide have moved from their homelands in order to improve themselves, escape from hardships or just in search of their dreamland. This unit will raise students' awareness about why people leave their homelands and the impact this makes on their lives and the lives of the country to which they migrate.
