An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of Paranoia and Mass Hysteria Throughout U. S. History and Literature From 1692 to the Present Periods of hysteria and paranoia have affected U. S. History and Literature for over 300 years. Students must be able to understand the social and political environments leading to these situations as well as analyze the connections and their impact on modern society.
