An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Teaching Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People to Children The students who enter our classrooms today are facing interpersonal, intrapersonal and societal challenges which are vastly different from those faced by their parents in growing up. Strategies for coping with these challenges are crucial to the development of an emotionally healthy, successful, and well-rounded adult. The Covey Kids Curriculum will provide our students with the strategies necessary for a more effective, productive, and fulfilling life. In this unit, students will develop an understanding of Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: 1) Be Proactive, 2) Begin with the end in Mind, 3) Seek first to Understand, 4) First Things First, 5) Think Win/Win, 6) Synergy, 7) Sharpen the Saw.
