An integrated, interdisciplinary elementary unit of US Regions and National Parks The US is a large country filled with many natural treasures. National parks were created to preserve them for present and future generations. By exploring the parks in each region third and fourth grades students will learn about their geography, history, natural resources and the importance of each and why they are protected.
