Days of Our Lives, Through the Sands of Time or Get Down and Dirty

An integrated, interdisciplinary, thematic study of Ancient Cultures: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow The students will explore the fact that humanity has left footprints in time, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. It is the past that will give us clues to our present and future. Awareness of past cultures and ancient civilizations enables students to gain an appreciation for them and to respect their differences. Though the implementation of this unit and experiences of the activities, the students will be able to acknowledge the fact, no matter how different a culture is all people have the same needs. We leave behind clues to the past that link us to future. This unit will teach the students the Basic Human Activities, aspects of the past that were successful or problems, and how they effect life today and the future.
