An Interdisciplinary/Integrated thematic unit on Ancient Egypt 3000 BC to 1000 BC for 6th grade. Ancient Egypt is one of the world's greatest civilizations. The Egyptians were endowed with fertile agricultural land; therefore, the development of great dynasties, a wealthy economy, the hieroglyphic writing system, technology, science, mathematics, architecture, astronomy, art, music, religious doctrine, literature, political and social organization, and village life provided a foundation of study for modern culture to emulate various aspects of their creativity.
