A grovvy Interdisciplinary Unit exploring the endocrine and nervous systems Knowledge of both the endocrine and nervous systems is vital to good health. This interdisciplinary unit is designed to acquaint the student with the dietary requirements to maintain properly functioning systems. In order to achieve this the student will be introduced to the various glands and glandular systems comprising both systems. After doing so, they will be able to list the various functions of each gland/system. Along with this, students will understand how the dietary needs of human beings are directly related to each system and its proper functioning.
