Don't Tread Upon U.S. or... Tell The King We've Split!
An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on the Constitution and Elections. This unit was developed to introduce middle school students to:
1) the necessity of a Constitution among the thirteen colonies in 1787 and in the 50 states today;
2) the structure of the Constitution;
3) the ways the Constitution has benefited Americans for the last 200 years;
4) the process of elections through the use of Constitutional guidelines;
5) what it means to be a respectful citizen.
