E-X-P-L-O-I-T Find Out What It Means To Me! (Europe)

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Middle School Unit of the Age of Exploration and the Explorers Contributions to Geography This unit will provide students with a working knowledge of seven of the key explorers of the world. To enhance this unit geography plays a dynamic role integrating world geography and exploration. In this unit students will learn the continents and oceans of the world, key geographic terms, the motivation behind exploration, and the toll exploration took on those discovered.
