Earth and Space: The Right Stuff to the Water Stuff

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on Earth, Rivers & Oceans, Atmosphere, and Space. This unit is designed for use in an Arizona sixth grade classroom. The focus of the unit is Earth and Space. Covered in the "Right Stuff" unit is water cycle, layers of the ocean and atmosphere, solar system, erosion, deposition, and weathering, human impact on the environment, Data Analysis, Area and Perimeter of irregular shapes, exponents, angles, religion, forms of government, bodies of water as foundations of civilizations, and History of space exploration. This unit will make connections between Earth and Space.
