  • $5.50

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of the Coastal Marshes of the Southeastern United States Coastal and salt marshes are one of nature's natural wonders. The natural wonders come in all shapes and sizes and vary in function. They occur in every state, from the coastal marshes of Alaska to the mangrove forests of Florida. Coastal marshes are areas of land that are covered with water at least part of the year and contain plants and animals that are adapted to these conditions. All future generations must respect the significance of the coastal marshes so future individuals will be encouraged through education to preserve the coastal marshes.
