His works include tales of horror and mystery as well as poetry. He experienced great tragedy in his short life but contributed much to the world of imagery. This integrated, interdisciplinary unit on the life and literature of Edgar Allan Poe will introduce students not only to the man and his work, but also to the times in which he lived.
