Exploring Culture and Family Through the Use of Personal Narratives, Persuasive Writing, and Research.

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-Based Unit on Culture and the Family. Students will gain a deeper appreciation and knowledge of their own heritage and of those around them. This will be expressed by students exploring concepts surrounding their community at both the micro and macro levels. They will explore human relationships with family, classmates, school administration, neighbors, and local government.
