An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Thematic Unit on Fall Harvest for Grades K-1 Fall harvest is an important part of our world. Many people and animals depend on a successful Fall Harvest to make it through the long winter months. Many times students do not think of where fruits and vegetables brought forth by the harvest come from. This unit will teach students how and why the fall harvest is essential to life.
