An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic study of the mathematics of flight This unit is important in that it will relate mathematics to the real-life skill of flying an airplane. Essential concepts are: the essentials of flight, area, literal equations, numeration, the Pythagorean theorem, graphing, navigation, and Bernoulli's equation.
