Follow the Yellow Brick Road...but always be ready for a detour

An integrated, interdisciplinary unit to guide middle school students to finding their true selves. This unit will encourage students to explore their own identities and will emphasize the importance of accepting who that student is as a person. The essential concepts in this unit are self-awareness and self-acceptance for the middle school student and how these two concepts can influence the transitional years between elementary and high school.
