An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Unit on Architecture for Intermediate Students Architecture is closely related to and involved with many disciplines including history, science, math, engineering, art, aesthetics, social studies, philosophy, computer science, and law. This interdisciplinary is designed to develop visual literacy, a sensitive appreciation for the "built" environment, and will create the ability to make wise decisions in the future. Students will realize the absolute need for quality, beauty, and sensitivity to both. They will become visual thinkers.
