An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Study of american History from Colonization to Rebellion This unit is important because it helps students understand the value and orgin of cultural Diversity as well as how this Diversity shaped both the past and present. Students will research information concerning the daily life, economy, and culture of the American colonial period. Students will then be able to associate these and aditional historical factors leading to the Revolutionary War. Finally, students will be able to compare what they have learned withmodern history.
