From Fibonacci to Liberace

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on patterns as shown in mathematics, science and humanities. The brain is a device that must be stimulated, instructed and exercised in the recognition of patterns. Many students are unable to recognize how mathematical elements are embedded in their daily lives. This unit is designed to enable students to make real world connections to the mathematical concept of patterns. It will answer the question of "How is math related to the real world?"
