From Fish to Frogs And Other Fun Stuff Facts and Features of Freshwater Ecosystems

An Interdiscplinary Unit for Grade Five This unit is designed to stimulate an understanding of the characteristics of aquatic ecosystems and the relationships of living and nonliving organisms with a focus on the study of the manatees. The concepts of this unit are designed to help students understand the importance of the conservation of ecosystems and endangered species. This unit will address the state curriculum standards for science, social studies, language arts through integration of content including mathematics and technology state curriculum standards.
