An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on the Freedoms, Rights, and Responsibilities of the Individual in Society As opposed to teaching moral and ethical responsibility which often falls to the church and family, the obligation of teaching civic duties lies with education. This interdisciplinary/integrated unit is designed to help upper-level secondary students understand their roles as individuals in society and to facilitate the understanding that with Constitutional rights come responsibilities.
