From Grade School to Middle School... It's (not) Elementary, my dear Watson

An integrated, interdisciplinary, intradisciplinary unit examining the transition of sixth graders from elementary to middle school. The adjustment to Middle School is a time of transition for students. Through this unit, Middle Schoolers will learn specific strategies for self-advocacy, stress management, goal setting, and decision making. They will also be introduced to methods that will imporve their basic academic and study skills. Equipped with these necessary tools, students will more easily achieve success and alleviate anxiety.
