From Marco Polo to Pocahontas or Around The World in Four Hundred Years

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on the Exploration of the New World - 1292 to 1610 Exploration is a way of learning about the world, and explorers are those individuals who change the way others think. Exploration in the Age of Discovery brought two continents and several cultures to the attention of the Europeans and forever altered the course of history. This unit will enable students to connect the Age of Discovery with "The New World."
