From Pole to Pole, We Tot'em so...The Way We Were

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary study of the indigenous people of the Pacafic Northwest. Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest suffered badl from the changes caused by European settlement. Many people died and some tribes disappeared altogether. Through this unit the students will learn about the cultural heritage of the indigenous ppeople of the Pacific Northwest, including their strong commitment to community, their appreciation of the environment and the preservation of their customs and traditions.
