From Rodin to Rodan: The Art of Taming the Research Monster Or, Research or Bust: Zipping Along the Information Highway

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Conducting Research Research is an integral part of all academic disciplines. Indeed, no human endeavor can be completely divorced from the past. Research provides the historical foundation upon which to base those decisions that face us in everyday life. Knowledge is increasing and changing at a dizzying rate. The best tools we can help our students develop are those skills which will enable them to learn about the past, comprehend the present, and prepare for the future. This unit will introduce students to the basic skills necessary for conducting research. Students will be able to apply these skills across the curriculum as well as in their day-to-day lives.
